Sports
Boys Basketball
The Boys Basketball teams suffered tough losses Friday. Varsity lost in Overtime to Andrew Hill 59-52. Varsity is now 3-3 in league and play the best team with the best player in the league on Wed AT Overfelt. Thank you to all the students that came to the game on Friday. Make the short trip Wednesday to Overfelt and support our Warriors as JV starts at 530 and Varsity starts at 7pm.
Baseball
To all students interested in baseball this season: please come out and join us for conditioning in the weight room Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3:45-5:45. Freshman, we need you all to come out too. Tryouts start Monday Jan 29 at 4pm on the Baseball field

NHS
Hey there NHSers! Don't forget that our meeting is today, during lunch, in room 650. We will be discussing our sleepovers as well as teensreach. Hope to see you all there!!!
Green Club
Hey Green Clubbers! There will be a fun, interactive meeting during lunch this Tuesday in room 635! For those interested in joining green club, we will have student-guest speakers that will tell us about their experience participating in our past community service events.

Hello talented warriors! There will be a music club meeting TODAY during lunch in the music room. We will be discussing Club Rush 2.0 so don't miss out!
Senior Prom
HEY SENIORS! The time has come for PROM TICKET SALES!! As you all know, senior prom is a once in a lifetime event where you can enjoy one night full of fun! The price for a ticket is now $85 until February 2nd! Guest tickets will be $5 more than the current price of the ticket and require a guest pass, available at the bank. If there are any questions, feel free to ask a senior officer and follow our event page to get all the details.

Person 1: It is a retro themed diner!! Tickets will be sold next week! $6 with ASB and $8 without ASB so be sure to look out for that!!
Military Ball
It is not too late to buy your Military Ball tickets! $20 for singles and $30 for couples. A buffet-style dinner, unlimited photobooth access, awesome music, and a big surprise for all attendees! The last day to buy your tickets is FEBRUARY 2, 2018!
VAPW Scholarship
The Vietnamese American Professional Women Association has scholarships available to females of Vietnamese descent. You can earn scholarships of $2000 if you qualify. The deadline is February 2. See Mr. Trinh in the ASB office for more information.
Financial Aid
Planning to enroll in college or a career technical program? Haven't applied for FREE GRANTS to AFFORD COLLEGE? Come afterschool, MONDAY AND WEDNESDAYS 3:15-4:00 PM in Room 342 to get help applying for Financial Aid!! That's FAFSA or the CA DREAM ACT! Stop by the Counseling office for a flyer!
SCVTE Field Trip
if you are interested in attending an SVCTE field trip on February 6th, please stop by the counseling office and speak with Ms. Vasquez. Space is limited!
ACE After School Mentor Program
If you are interested in a career in architecture, construction or engineering and you would like to have the opportunity to learn from professionals in that field, sign up for the ACE mentor program with Ms. Uchida in the counseling office. The ACE mentor program starts on January 22nd and will run every Monday from 4-6pm in Rm. 901. Students will work on team projects, learn about careers in architecture and construction and go on field trips to construction sites.
